Leighton Hospital - Road Closures

We hear from Dave Wilcox who is a Patient Representative at Leighton Hospital the latest news of roadworks around the hospital:

Sections of Flowers Lane near Leighton Hospital will be closed for a total of 14 weeks during two phases of work.

In the first phase, the southern section of Flowers Lane, between the Bob Brown Way roundabout and the staff car park entrance, will be closed for seven weeks from Friday 24 April 2026 (see image).

Then, once this southern section is completed, the northern part of the road, between the staff car park entrance and the Middlewich Road roundabout, will be closed for seven weeks.

The road closure is so that Bloor Homes can complete work to develop a roundabout on Flowers Lane, opposite the staff car park entrance.
